Smart Home Portal - Asset Details Page Overview
All assets can be viewed in detail; the following article will show the available information.
Overview:
The Asset details will display when opening an Asset from the summary page. Each box contains additional details that you can view by clicking on the box.
Viewing Individual Asset Details:
This section will review each box.
Asset Details:
This box stores all the information associated with the Asset. The address, unit, apt, or house name, if it is a condo, house, townhouse, etc. If you are using an integration system, this is where your PMS Data Pull ID goes. You can edit any of the information.
Residents:
This box lets you know if the Asset is vacant or occupied, and you can invite or move out residents. For more details on creating a resident invitation, go to How to Invite a Resident to a Property.
- If using an integration system, adding a resident will be automated. For more information about using an integration, contact your Client Success Manager at Rently.
Codes/Fobs:
Any codes that have been created will be listed here. This will tell you if a code is active or inactive at this property. You can also create new codes just for this property here.

Activity:
This will allow you to see the history of the devices. IE: If a door has been opened/closed, if a code was used on the lock, and which code. Hub communication (heartbeats), thermostat communication.
Hub:
This device is required for all devices to be able to communicate.
- To ensure the hub is functioning correctly, check the list below.
- The status is "Online."
- Signal Strength - shows enough service bars to be online.
- The power cord icon has a green circle around the plug.
