Smart Home Portal Assets Page Overview
This article will overview the assets page in the Rently Smart Home Portal.
Overview: When you click on the Assets on the left navigation bar, it will open all of your Assets.
- Assets here are separated into two categories.
- "All Assets" - any hub assigned to an address.
- "Free Devices" - any hub that has not been assigned to an address.
Search bar:
You can search for any Asset by property name, address, or serial number.
Filters:
You can filter your search to look for specific information by clicking on the "Filters" button.
Check all the filters you wish to apply and click "Apply" at the bottom right when done.
The screen will re-fresh to show your chosen selection.
Groups:
This feature is specifically for management that have bundled assets in the group menu.
Communities:
If your company is structured by communities, clicking this button will allow a new popup menu to appear displaying the community you wish to view.
- If you wish to know more about settings up communities please contact your assigned Client Success Manager.
Export:
The information on all your assets can be exported to a spreadsheet by clicking on the "Export" button.
+New Assets:
If you are adding additional properties to your company click "+New Assets".
Note: During initial kickoff all assets will be created by Rently.

Asset Summary:
On the main page there is a summary of all assets, if you used filters what is displayed will
- Hub - Overview of online/offline or shared hubs.
- Occupancy - If the asset is occupied or vacant, Rently Enable Error.

- Lock - If lock is unlock/locked, jammed, online/offline, low batteries, or no associated lock.
- Thermostat - If thermostat is online/offline, cool/heat/auto/off, low batteries, temperature.
- Monitoring - Any sensor device that have been installed, low battery, online/offline.
