How to add or update an email/text greeting for visitors.
Note: This is only for vacation rentals using a software integration system.
Step 1: On the left navigation bar, click on "Settings"
The Settings tab will open.
Step 2: Click on "Software Integrations."
Software Integrations will display.
Step 3: Click "Select Software"; a menu will drop down. Click on the software integration system that you are using.
Once you have selected the integration system you are using; a new menu will appear.
Step 4: At the bottom of this page is Email and Text. Make sure the Email is selected to say yes. Once it has been selected, if it is not already, Custom email text will appear below that.
In the Custom email text, you can type out the message that you would like to go to visitors when they reserve one of your vacation rentals. Below is an example of what you could have sent to the visitors.
Greeting Example: "You have rented a Smart Home, and for your security, it uses a keypad instead of keys! Your 5-digit code is listed. Please make a record of it. Enter your unique code and click the CHECK MARK in the lower left-hand corner. You will hear the lock begin opening. To lock the pad as you leave, simply press any key, and you will hear it begin locking. The code will work from 3 pm on your day of arrival until 10 am on the day of departure. The housekeeper will be entering at 10 am to begin cleaning. Upon making the reservation, you will receive this code and then again three days before your arrival. Enjoy your vacation with us!!
