To turn on the Self Showing feature, you must have a device assigned to the property.
Select the property you want to assign the device to.
Scroll down to find the Device Detail section on the right. Click on Assign a Device.
Select the serial number of the device you want to assign to this property.
You will need to complete the following sections:
Access Instructions: Provide a brief description of where a prospect can locate your Rently device (typically Front Door is sufficient). You can also provide any other information they need to gain access to the property.
Note: If the property has a gate or alarm code, you can put that information here.
Choose your Property Marketing Status: Select whether the property is ready for showings or not, and if you want to enable self showing or agent showings.
- Agent Showing: Begins marketing the property. Prospects are able to book an appointment with one of your showing agents within their availability.
- Self Showing: Begins marketing the property. Property has a lockbox on the door and is ready for prospects to self tour.
- Waitlist: Begins marketing the property. Property is not ready for prospects to self tour. When they inquire, they are added to a waitlist. When you set property to Self Showing, we will notify everyone on the waiting list that the property is ready for self tours.
Alternate Way to Assign a Device to a Property
Select Devices from the menu on the left. Find the device and click the blue Assign button. Select the property you want to assign the device to and input Access Instructions (where the lockbox will be located).
