Our system has a feature to detect when a key is not returned based on user actions during their self-tour at checkout. We are continuing to tweak this process, and will never charge anyone without direct reports from your leasing team. (this feature currently exists for only multi-unit tour communities).
Clearing lockboxes when key detected as unreturned
You must clear the lockbox to verify there are keys so future tours are unaffected. This is done in the portal within your community (pictured below). What this does is allows that lockbox to be assigned for future self-tours.
Multiple lockboxes will ensure a buffer so tours are unaffected. Please speak to your Client Success Manager, or use the Help button in portal on the bottom left to find out more.
How do I get these alerts?
To configure this email alert, simply navigate to the Community page, and under Community Admin Settings > Alerts, check the box for 'Keys'.
