Where do prospects come from and how can I view them?
Rently has a powerful syndication platform that sends your listing to the internet's most popular rental listing websites. Interested renters can inquire on a listing site and Rently will send an automated email to them with more information about how they can conduct a showing.
You can monitor these inbound inquiries generated by Rently in the Activity Log for each property.
Leads are viewable in the Leads tab of the Rently portal.
Note: Rently classifies "leads" as prospects who have registered through Rently and either scheduled a showing or conducted a self-showing.
Types of Prospects
Email Inquiries are the most basic interaction a prospect can have with your property. Typically this comes from someone clicking a button on a syndication partner site. Only a small amount of information is transferred in this type of request, Rently will have the date and time of the inquiry along with the email address and source.
Note: Syndication partners sometime "disguise" email addresses so it will be routed through their website (the email will contain a long sting of letters and numbers and the source domain).
Phone Inquiries are logged when a prospect calls into your advertised phone number. The Rently custom phone line will track the date and time of the call along with the phone number (via caller ID) and the property the renter was calling about.
Leads are the prospects that have taken an additional step, and registered with Rently. Check your Leads section to add notes, assign agents, and follow up with leads.
Note: An "Unclaimed Lead" is a lead that has yet to be assigned to an agent. Many of our larger clients use this functionality to prevent multiple agents from following up with the same person. Sort of like a CRM (Customer Relationship Management software).
